He survived the horror of that time and brought the horror through with him. Where some men cower and fear the endless night, Conradus lives there, in the dark in perpetuity and without the God he once knelt before.

There are few things more terrifying, more powerful, capable of more monstrosities than a man who has lost faith, and this is how he became The King, the leader of this savage gang of brutes and the fallen.

He still wears his ceremonial robes to remind himself and his followers from where he came, the past that promised so much, and when it came time, could give so little. Now, he is their God, he is The King, their commander and supreme ruler, and his domain is ever-expanding.
