Humanity lost some of the most advanced weaponry ever created when countless numbers of Core Techs died during the Black Lake Incident. What few understand is that, unlike a regular army, where the commanders and generals train thousands upon thousands of soldiers in the same fashion, give them the same weapons, the same armour and tactics, within the original Core Techs, every soldier was individual. Every soldier was elite and in a class of their own.

Their organisation, armament and mobilisation were unlike anything seen in the history of warfare, because they knew their task was a mission unlike anything humanity had ever faced. Here, in Orbital, is one of the finest examples of what the world could have lost, but saved himself through his sheer might alone.

Named after his abilities to tap into the kinetic bombardment systems that were launched against the AI, Orbital is utterly unique in the world. No one anywhere, as far as the Core Techs understand, any longer has the snap-code decryption capabilities to access these weapons of colossal power other than Orbital himself.

He is weary of his power, only bringing it in when it is necessary, and understanding that when the finite munitions that still exist in the now unreachable orbital platforms are gone, that’s it. Strong and with enough heavy armour to take on a serious battering, he walks alone amongst his peers, and stays close to White Mayhem, knowing one day, the call will come, to rain down the fire that he alone can control.
