Within the sprawling expanse of the Neo-Budapest Triangle, the PEACEKEEPERS stand as an impossible force. The supposed guardians of order in a city teeming with corruption, their presence is both feared and revered. Born from the ashes of old-world policing, they have evolved into a paramilitary entity that serves not the ideals of justice, but the whims of the highest bidder. A blunt instrument in the hands of the Triangle's elites, they do not harbour ideas of justice or public service, but only of licking the polished boot of those who feed them. An arm of enforcement for those who rule from the shadows—whether that be the Shroom dealing street gangs vying for power, the Tehran Corporation of the Family Gilchrist. They serve the highest bidder, and often, many bidders at once.

SPIDER navigates this world, dishing out her own unique blend of vengeance and justice, turning the PEACEKEEPERS' own corruption against them. Among the ranks of these so-called guardians, she is a phantom, exacting retribution on those who exploit the vulnerable. Her history of abuse in the Triangle's merciless streets has forged her into a weapon of precision and cold resolve. Within the organisation, she is both hunter and hunted, using her position to identify and eliminate those who mirror the perpetrators of her past torment.

Her mission is solitary, fuelled by the memories of her own suffering and the unquenchable desire to prevent others from enduring the same fate. SPIDER's actions challenge the very nature of the PEACEKEEPERS, blurring the lines between justice and vengeance. She uses her position to both eradicate scum from the streets of the Triangle, and within the ranks of the PEACEKEEPERS themselves, killing her fellow cops indiscriminately, but with one stark contrast, she has morals. She has her ideals, she will take whatever she can get, and she'll turn on the prick that gave it to her as quickly as her knife can slice through their neck.

As she ascends through the ranks, her identity remains shrouded in secrecy, her motives known only to her. In SPIDER, there is a unique type of justice—one that is meted out from the shadows, where the line between predator and prey becomes blurred. Through her, many will die, they will face justice at her hands, but it will not be the justice of a civil society built on the rule of law, it will be her justice, dealt from the tip of her blade, borne from her own years of pain.
